The boat

Kozmic 5

Kozmic 5 is a 50ft semi-displacement powercat, built in New Zealand by its owner in 2012 for private trips around the Hauraki Gulf. Her twin hulls keep things stable and comfortable, with a spacious cockpit and saloon, a fully equipped galley, a built-in BBQ out back (best suited to small groups), and a 3 metre tender on the foredeck to run up to 6 guests ashore at a time. At a cruising speed of 18 knots, the islands of the gulf are easy to reach.

Lunch and dinner cruises

Lunch or dinner in a sheltered, scenic bay, or a sunset run across the harbour. BYO food and drink, or fully catered.

Charter rates

Charters run from a 4-hour half day to a 7-hour full day, shaped around what you want to do. Extra hours are $300 each. Catering and drinks are additional, or BYO at no extra charge.

Dave built Kozmic 5 and skippers every charter himself. He will plan the day around your group, pick the best bay for the conditions, and look after the details so you and your guests can relax.

Where to find us

Kozmic 5 is on Pier C, Berth 2 at Orakei Marina, Tamaki Drive, about 10 minutes' drive from Auckland CBD. Park in the white-lined car parks opposite the piers. The yellow-lined parks are for berth holders only.
